Q: How long does it take to have my pans cleaned and returned?

A:

Most pan orders can be processed within 30 to 36 hours from the time they are picked up at your bakery to the time they are returned.

Q: Is there a minimum quantity of pans per order?

A:

Pan Glo® will process any quantity of pans you may have whether it be just one or ten thousand. The only time there is a minimum is when pans are transported by Pan Glo® Transport or Pan Glo® Services, and that minimum is 2,200 pans.

Q: How do my pans get to and from the Pan Glo® facility?

A:

You can use your own carrier or Pan Glo® offers pickup and delivery services through Pan Glo® Transport and Pan Glo® Services for an additional per pan fee. The per-pan cost is calculated using the distance from your bakery to the Pan Glo® facility at which the pans will be processed and the quantity of pans. A minimum quantity of 2,200 pans is required for us to provide transportation.

Q: Do I still need to oil my pans if they are glazed?

A:

The use of pan oil depends on the products you bake. Most bread and cake products will require some oil. However, most bun and roll products require no oil for suitable product release.

Q: Are there special washing procedures for my glazed pans?

A:

Washing glazed pans is not recommended. Usually wiping the surface with a dry, soft cloth or brush is all that is needed. However, cake products usually require washing so water should be used at no more than 120º F and any detergent used should not be alkaline in nature. High pressure water should ordinarily not be used; however, if it is necessary, the pressure should be kept under 20 psi.

Q: Where is the closest Pan Glo® facility?
